ASPIRE Research Support Program – Joint Measurement Campaign in Japan

September 25, 2025

Arigatou gozaimasu!

ILH had the pleasure to join forces with our partners at Waseda University, the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), and Gifu University. We would like to thank them for their warm hospitality and outstanding professionalism during our joint measurement campaign within the frame of the ASPIRE research support program.
Together, we successfully carried out several exciting experiments across three institutions:
📡 Waseda University – THz Communication: 300 GHz transmit and receive frontend characterisation.
📡 NICT – Antenna pattern measurements of WR-3.4 Cassegrain antennas, as well as WR-3.4 and WR10 multi-mode tracking antennas.
📡 Gifu University – Near-field antenna pattern measurements on WR-10 and WR-3.4 multi-mode antennas.
This collaboration not only advances our research on high-frequency communication systems, but also strengthens the ties between our institutes.
We are very much looking forward to further intensifying this fruitful and pleasant collaboration!
