The Institute of Electrical and Optical Communications (INT) at the University of Stuttgart participated in this year’s Optical Fiber Communication Conference (OFC) in Los Angeles, the world’s leading conference and exhibition for optical communications and networking technologies. At OFC, INT showcased its latest research on ultra-high-energy-efficient ASICs for IM/DD equalization, few-mode fiber splicing, an experimental DSP demonstration focused on spatial division multiplexing (SDM), and few-mode fiber characterization.
