The Johann Philipp Reis Prize 2025 was awarded to Prof. Dr.-Ing. Georg Rademacher. He receives the award for his groundbreaking research on new glass fibers that enable extremely high data rates through processes such as space division multiplexing (SDM) – a key technology for the future of artificial intelligence, digitalization, and data centers.
