To know a bit of German helps a lot to get around as an international student in Stuttgart, to get in contact with new people, prospective employers and to learn about the culture and way of life of the Swabians in the German Southwest!
In the coming semester, Faculty 5 will therefore again offer additional German courses for our international Master students in collaboration with the Language Center. These courses are offered during the semester and shouldn’t be confused with the intensive German course, which is offered by the International Office before the semester starts.
For students of the Master’s programs M.Sc. Computational Linguistics, M.Sc. Computer Science, M.Sc. INFOTECH and M.Sc. Electrical Engineering (EENG), the following six course levels are available: A1.1, A1.2, A2.1, A2.2, B1.1. and B1.2.
The courses are voluntary, free of charge and will be held online once a week.
It is mandatory to register in advance for these courses. Please register during the official registration period, which runs from October 7 to 15, 2024 via C@mpus (first come, first serve).
You should at least attend the first two sessions, otherwise you will be automatically deregistered from the course.
Important! Please register for only one course at a time, as each course involves a certain amount of (home) work and learning a new language can be very time-consuming.
If you want to know your current German language level, we recommend you to take the language test.
In case of any questions, please feel free to contact the International Service Point (ISP) Faculty 5!
