It was a great pleasure for our IHT team to attend the #DRC 2026 on the campus of the University of Michigan! The conference provided an excellent opportunity for scientists from academia, industry and government to share the latest advances in electronic device research. The conference highlights included short courses, plenary talks, keynote presentations, focus sessions and student paper awards. Last but not least, it provided great networking opportunities with peers, mentors and industry!
IHT was well represented: We had two oral talks and two poster presentations:
Quynh Thi Phung – “Seed-Assisted Polarity Control of Flexible WSe2 Transistors and Demonstration of CMOS Inverters”
Meera Nandakumaran – “Ultraviolet Ozone Treated Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide for Flexible Memristor Applications”
Krishna Rudrapal – “Low-Voltage Forming-Free, Abrupt, and Gradual Resistive Switching in Surface-Modified IGZO Memristors”
Sören Schäfer – “Aging of Unencapsulated Te Transistors in Ambient Air and Comparison of Annealing Conditions”
Furthermore, Alwin Daus organized with Henryk Turski the DRC’s rump session titled “Everything Switches: Sorting Fact from Fiction in Future Devices” with great discussions and excellent panellists Thomas Mikolajick, Steve Koester, Debdeep Jena, and Tomas Palacios.
Thanks to Eilam Yalon (Technical Program Chair) and all the other committee members for putting together an outstanding program! Looking forward to the next DRC!
