This year’s IEEE Wireless Power Technology Conference and Expo (WPTCE 2026) took place from July 5–9, 2026, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The Institute for Electrical Energy Conversion (iew) was represented there by four doctoral students, along with Professor Parspour.
The team actively contributed to the scientific exchange through two oral presentations and five poster presentations. We are particularly proud of Daniel Fritz, who was honored with this year’s Best Poster Paper Award for his presentation titled “Experimental Evaluation of a Weight-Reduced Vehicle Assembly Pad for Inductive EV Charging.”

The WPTCE provided an excellent platform to present current research findings, discuss innovative approaches, establish new contacts with leading international experts, and strengthen existing relationships.
