High interest in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science – Faculty 5 participating in the Baltic student fairs

March 26, 2024 / ISP/Faculty 5

From March 14 to 17, Faculty 5 represented the University of Stuttgart at the “Days of International Education BALTICS”.

Together with Baden Württemberg International (BW_i), Faculty 5 – representing the University of Stuttgart - participated in the spring edition of the annual Days of International Education in the Baltics. At three different locations, the International Service Point of Faculty 5 informed visitors on English and German conducted course offerings at the University of Stuttgart, especially in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and Computer Science.

The Days of International Education, organized by the Baltic Council, are the biggest public education abroad fairs in the Baltics. They take place in the capitals of Estonia (Tallinn), Latvia (Riga) and Lithuania (Vilnius) twice a year.

Meta Geisbüsch, ISP Faculty 5, advises interested pupils in studying at the University of Stuttgart.

During three days, education providers like research universities and universities of applied sciences from all around the world have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with pupils (aged 15-18), their parents and students interested in studying abroad.

Hundreds of pupils, families and students interested in studying in Baden-Württemberg and at the University of Stuttgart in particular, visited our booth each single day. We have been in consultations non-stop and we were highly impressed by these interested, motivated young people. It would be great if some of these visitors will take the plunge and come to the University of Stuttgart in the near future!
