The modules of the study program

The Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology consists of several modules. Your total amount of credits (ECTS-Credits), which you have to achieve during your studies, is 180. As soon as you have successfully completed all modules, you have passed your Bachelor's degree. Your overall grade is formed by the grades of the individual modules, whereby the sub-grades are weighted with the credit points of the modules.

Module manual

Here you will find the Module manual as PDF for the Bachelor's program "Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik". All modules of the study program are listed there. This gives you an overview of which modules you should take at which time.

An example

For example, the module "Microelectronics" starts in the winter semester and lasts for two semesters (module duration). After both semesters a partial examination of the module should be taken. As soon as you have passed both examinations (Mikroelectronic I and Mikroelectronics II), the whole module is passed. The module has a weighting of 9 credit points (ECTS credits). In the study plan you can see when it is best to take the module and pass the corresponding exam. Deviations from the study plan are permitted as long as the general study deadlines are met.
