Our services and information
Faculty 5 has a strong international focus. This is not only reflected in a considerable number of cooperations with research institutions and industry worldwide and a very international student body, but also in its teaching: International degree seeking students can choose between a total of four English taught master’s programs:
- M.Sc. Computational Linguistics
- M.Sc. Computer Science
- M.Sc. Electrical Engineering (EENG)
- M.Sc. Information Technology (INFOTECH)
Furthermore, the Departments of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and of Computer Science offer several German taught study programs for which sufficient German language skills are required.

Our Services for our international degree (seeking) students
It is of great importance to us to support international prospective students and our international degree students at the beginning of, during and after their studies in the best possible way. For this reason, the International Service Point (ISP) was established at our faculty. If you have questions concerning our study programs or if you need help or assistance in your daily (student) life, please refer to the ISP. In addition to consultation hours we offer several services German courses, academic writing workshops, the rubric “Our students' perspectives”, social events etc..
In our news and events section we keep you informed about important news and events regarding your studies, of our ISP, of the International Office of the University of Stuttgart and also of further international institutions of the City of Stuttgart (e.g. its events for social and professional networking & trainings).
