Change of study program

We are very happy that you are interested in changing to the Bachelor's program "Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik".

If you have already lost the right to take an examination in your current study program, §10, section (1) of the examination regulations must be observed, because you may have lost the right to take an examination in our study program as well and therefore cannot be enrolled in the study program "Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik".

The Chair of the Examination Board is responsible for the recognition of modules already completed. As a rule, all modules will be recognised which impart comparable competences to the same or greater extent (number of credit points (LP)) as those taught in the modules (cf. appendix to the examination regulations) of our study program. In general, §21 of the examination regulations applies in this context.

Please note that when applying to join a higher academic semester via the C@mpus application portal, a request is automatically sent to the Chair of the Examination Board (CEB). The CEB will then determine the academic semester into which the applicant is to be placed and which examination results from their previous studies can be recognised.

Students who have already studied for three or more semesters and are required by § 60 Abs. 2 Nr. 5 LHG to prove that they have received academic counselling, please contact our Advisory Service for Students Changing Programs.

The application for a change of study program to the Bachelor's program "Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik" must be made via the C@mpus .
