Directions
By car
When travelling by car, please consult the map below. Coming from the Autobahn please drive towards Stuttgart-Vaihingen (A831) at the Kreuz Stuttgart. Take the turn-off "Universität".
By public transport
When arriving at Stuttgart main station, please take S-Bahn S1 (Towards Herrenberg), S2 (Towards Filderstadt) or S3 (Towards Airport) up to Station "Universität" (approx. 15 minutes). You can find the time-table here.
You can already buy a ticket with your long-distance train ticket (City-Ticket). When buying a single ticket in Stuttgart, you will need 2 zones.
Several bus lines stop at the university (No. 82; 84; 91; 92; 746; 747; 748 - and the airport shuttle X60). Please also consult the vvs website for more information.
By plane
From Stuttgart Airport please take S-Bahn S2 (Towards Schorndorf) or S3 (Towards Backnang) up to S-Bahn-Station »Universität« (approx. 15 minutes).
