Study Commission

The Study Commission (StuKo) of a study program is the advisory body of the Great Faculty Council for the area of teaching in the respective study program.

The Joint Study Commission represents the study programs

  • Electrical and Information Engineering (B.Sc. and M.Sc.)
  • Electromobility (M.Sc.)
  • Sustainable Electrical Power Supply (M.Sc.)
  • Electrical Engineering (M.Sc.)

The Study Commission INFOTECH is responsible for the study program Information Technology (M.Sc.).

Tasks

The Study Commission (StuKo) of a study program is the advisory body of the Great Faculty Council for the area of teaching in the respective study program. The Study Commission prepares proposals for the further development and improvement of the study programs and its contents. The Study Commission also initiates the examination regulations and necessary changes to examination regulations. The Study Commission also discusses and decides on the courses offered for the coming semester. A further task is to decide on the distribution of the decentralised quality assurance resources (QSM).

However, all decisions of the Study Commission must be approved by the Grand Faculty Council.

Who belongs to this?

The chairman of the Joint Study Commission in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bin Yang.

Further members are elected professors, elected representatives of the middle school and elected student representatives. Permanent guests of the Study Commission are the study program manager and the study advisor of the study program.
