The study program starts in the 6th bachelor semester.

The first three semesters (6th Bachelor's semester, 1st and 2nd Master's semester) are completed at ENSICAEN. The remaining two semesters are studied at the University of Stuttgart. This also includes writing the Master's thesis.

The degree course at ENSICAEN, "Génie physique et Systèmes embarqués", focuses on the areas of sensor technology, digital technology and energy technology. From the 1st Master's semester onwards, students will choose one of the two specializations: "Systèmes embarqués et automatique" or "Ingénierie physique et capteurs".

After successfully completing their studies, students receive two degrees (M. Sc. Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik from the University of Stuttgart and Ingénieur diplomé en Génie Physique et Systèmes embarqués from ENSICAEN).

ENSICAEN is an outstanding engineering school and belongs to the French "Grandes Ecoles". It has around 800 students. Located in the heart of a scientific campus north of Caen, ENSICAEN is home to 7 internationally recognized cutting-edge research laboratories.

Professor Ingmar Kallfass, responsible for the programm, emphasizes: "I am convinced that knowing and appreciating - especially in this unique combination of these two neighboring cultures - the respective education, scientific research and industry gives all graduates of this Franco-German program a prestigious advantage. All this is crowned by the mastery of two such beautiful, albeit demanding, languages. It is a unique opportunity for our Bachelor students to develop personally and professionally."

Information is available on the specific website.
