The first International Day of the faculty 5 ...

... took place on November 24, 2022. All students of Faculty 5 were invited. Information about the exchange opportunities were presented, testimonials introduced themselves and their experiences abroad and there were a workshop and a guest lecture. Why should I study abroad?

Spending a semester at a university abroad is an experience that you will certainly look back on often in your later life. Not only will you learn to communicate in another language and assimilate into a foreign culture, but you will also come into contact with completely different teaching and learning methods.

We as the Department of Computer Science can and want to make it possible for you to gain these experiences not only in your working life but already as a student. Within Europe, an exchange via the ERASMUS+ program, a sponsored exchange with partner universities within Europe. The different departments of the University of Stuttgart cooperate with numerous Erasmus partner universities. How do I apply?

If you are interested in such a stay abroad, simply apply for one of the partner universities. The deadline is on 15.01. of each year for the following winter semester or the next but one summer semester. Please follow the instructions on the website of the International Center. By the way: apart from the general requirements of the IZ or the partner university, we do not require any additional, subject-specific documents for the application.

General information about the exchange programs of the University of Stuttgart can be found on the pages of the International Center. The staff there will be happy to help you with words and deeds.
