Funding

There are several ways to finance your studies as part of a double master's programme.

  • NEW! From the academic year 2025-26, our degree program will be funded by the Franco-German University. The DFH grants a monthly mobility allowance of €350 per student for a maximum of 10 months per academic year. In the case of compulsory internships in the partner country during the summer months after or before a compulsory mobility phase of 2 semesters, for which the student has received a mobility grant, the funding period can be extended to 12 months after explicit application by the home university.
  • The Baden-Württemberg Scholarship:

The BW scholarship for students is a program of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation. It is a monthly partial scholarship of 700 euros for Bachelor's and Master's students (usually 8 x 700 euros for a two-semester stay).

Application deadline: March 15 for a stay abroad from September to July.

  • PROMOS Scholarship:

As part of the DAAD mobility program "PROMOS", the International Office awards scholarships for a stay abroad.

Application deadline: Start of the stay between July 1 and December 31: June 1 of the same year. Start of stay between January 1 and June 30: December 1 of the previous year

The maximum funding period is three months (350 EUR/month). Students also receive a mobility grant.

It is not possible to combine the BW scholarship and PROMOS for the same stay!

  • Federal traininassistance (Bafög):

Application deadline: 3-6 months before departure
