With homemade almond pastries and refreshing lemonade, Franco-German cooperation was cultivated in a particularly enjoyable way on Wednesday, July 9.

Together with the International Service Point of Faculty 5, we had the pleasure of welcoming interns from France. The ILH Institute is hosting students from the engineering universities ENSICAEN and INSA Strasbourg for a few months.

In addition, we used the beautiful setting of the student study room to make our students aware of the double degree programs with ENSICAEN and encourage them to apply before the application deadline.

We were also particularly pleased that we were able to create a valuable synergy with the Faculty of Chemistry in promoting the Franco-German degree courses. Both double degree programs (Electrical Engineering / Chemistry) will be funded by the Franco-German University (DFH/UFA) for the first time from the 2025-2026 academic year.

It was a great opportunity for our students to gain an insight into life and study in both countries - and to discover the many opportunities within Franco-German partnerships.
