This year's summer symposium and graduation ceremony of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology under the motto "Science. Engineers. Future." took place on June 7th at the Alte Reithalle in Stuttgart . The event provided a festive setting to honour the outstanding achievements of the graduates of the class of 2024. Around 470 guests, including 130 graduates, attended the ceremony.
Alongside the ceremony, a poster exhibition was held, showcasing the current research topics of the department's institutes. This exhibition provided attendees with insights into the university's innovative projects and scientific endeavors.
As part of the celebrations, the best graduates were honoured with prizes. The prizes were sponsored by renowned foundations and companies, including the Anton & Klara Röser Foundation, the VDE Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies, Rohde & Schwarz GmbH, Netze BW GmbH, Sony Group Corporation and Robert Bosch GmbH.
The award ceremony emphasised the close cooperation between university and industry and underlined the central role of electrical engineering and information technology for the technological development and innovative capacity of the region.
