Stuttgart's history is long and illustrious – from a stud farm to the residence of dukes, counts and kings of Württemberg, the Swabian capital has today developed into one of Europe's leading high-tech regions.* Accordingly, the city has a large number of cultural highlights to offer including historic buildings, various museums and art galleries, the opera, ballet, concert halls and musicals. City festivals and further events such as the Stuttgart Wine Village, Christmas Market and of course the famous Cannstatter Volksfest take place regularly. Moreover, there are many urban parks as well as forests and vineyards in the surrounding area.

To put it in a nutshell: There is a lot to experience and discover in Stuttgart! In various blog articles, our students report on their life and studies here and also reveal tips and tricks – for example, on what you should know and what (places) not miss at the University and in Stuttgart, what costs arise in everyday life and how to find a student job.
